ITEC & Oasis Static Bike Challenge – Track the Progress

6th October 2016

Over the next 9 weeks, we’re working with local Oasis Academies in the South West to raise just over £7,000 through a static bike cycling challenge. A total of 7,000+ miles will be cycled to represent the distance from Bristol to Oasis Musoto in Uganda.

All funds raised will go towards a new IT container classroom in the Oasis Uganda school. Through each academy’s contribution, Oasis will be able to install, configure and set-up the container classroom with computer equipment and satellite Internet connectivity.

As each academy has a dedicated leg of the journey to complete, you can keep track of their progress here. Additionally, if you’d like to make a donation, we’ve set up a fundraising page.

ITEC has joined forces with Oasis Academies to raise funds for a new IT classroom at the Oasis Academy in Musoto, Uganda. Olympic athlete Derek Redmond and Oasis Chief Operating Officer John Barneby joined ITEC chief executive Nick Orme at John Williams Oasis Academy in cycling the first kilometers of the 7,402 being ridden at eight Oasis Academies to raise £7402.
